Discussion on the Development Direction of Sectoral Statistics

Wednesday, March 29, 2023, BPS Gorontalo Province received a visit from the Communication Information and Statistics Office (Diskominfotik) of Gorontalo Province led by Head of Statistics Debby Habibie. Head of General Affairs, Dwi Alwi Astuti, accompanied by the Sectoral Statistics Development Team of BPS Gorontalo Province, welcomed the visit of the Diskominfotik group in order to strengthen coordination of sectoral statistics development.

The meeting, which lasted for 1 hour, was also a gathering event between the Head of Diskominfotik Statistics who was just appointed some time ago and the Sectoral Statistics Development Team, which this year also experienced changes in personnel composition.

Although fairly short, there were several important agendas that surfaced on this occasion. Kominfo and BPS agreed to continue strengthening collaboration towards One Data Indonesia. BPS as the supervisor of sectoral statistics is committed to supporting internal strengthening through assistance related to statistical business processes in Diskominfotik. In the short term, this coordination will be implemented through BPS assistance in the data review process in the sectoral e-data portal that will be displayed in the Diskominfotik Command Center.
