Abstract

In March 2018, Farmers Exchange Rate (FER) of Gorontalo Province was recorded at 103.10 or decreased by 0.80 percent compared to the state of February 2018 which was recorded at 103.93.
Of the 10 provinces in eastern Indonesia, there are 5 provinces whose FER is above 100. The highest FER is achieved by West Sulawesi Province with a value of 110.12, followed by Gorontalo with 103.10, South Sulawesi at 101.33, North Maluku with 100.58, and Maluku of 100.43. The lowest Farmer Exchange Rate occurred in Papua Province of 92.11, North Sulawesi Province 94.81, Southeast Sulawesi Province 94.85, Central Sulawesi Province 97.00, and West Papua Province 99.73. The national FER of 101.94 declined -0.39 percent from the previous month which was recorded at 102.33.
