Abstract

Farmers' Terms of Trade (FTT) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one of the indicators to know the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the exchange rate of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
FTT Gorontalo in April 2025 was 114.07 or decreased by 2.62 percent compared to the previous month. The decrease was due to It falling by 0.76 percent while Ib rose by 1.91 percent.
From 14 provinces in eastern Indonesia, 6 provinces had an increase in FTT. The highest increase in FTT in April 2025 occurred in Papua Tengah Province, which was 0.63 percent. The highest decrease in FTT occurred in Sulawesi Barat Province, which was 3.42 percent.
In April 2025, there was an increase in IKRT in Gorontalo Province of 2.42 percent, with the highest increase in the index occurring in the housing, water, electricity, gas, and household fuel group of 5.18 percent.
