Foreign Trade Statistics of Gorontalo Province 2018

World economic growth implies the existence of an increasingly large market for goods and services, especially in the era of free trade like now. This requires each region to increase the competitiveness of its commodities. The increase is related to the quality of the products produced and the resources or capital goods used. Therefore, in the end, foreign trade is not only intended as a market for domestic products, but also the procurement of domestic capital goods that can spur industrial activities. Economic integration and trade liberalization that occur globally have a significant influence on the location and activities of the world economy because economic integration and trade liberalization can change the flow and patterns of foreign trade. Changes in the aruas pattern of trade occur because of the comparative advantages possessed by each country. To find out the patterns and flows of international trade, export and import statistics are needed, both in the form of goods and services. Based on the export / import goods notification document obtained from the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC), BPS conducts processing and presentation of export and import static data in Gorontalo Province.
