Results of Inter-Censal Agricultural Survey 2018 of Gorontalo Province A2-Series

The agricultural sector is the main sector that plays an important role in the national economy in absorbing labor, a source of economic growth, and a contributor to foreign exchange. In addition, the agricultural sector also drives other sectors in the national economy. Starting from this condition, attention will be given to the availability of complete, accurate, and agricultural sector data
the latest is very much needed as a reference for the government and stakeholders in planning
and policy formulation. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in its duties and authorities provides data related to the agricultural sector through various periodic surveys and censuses. Provision of census-based agricultural data is carried out every ten years, while changes in agricultural business are very fast following technological developments, changing seasons, and prices. The last agricultural census was carried out in 2013 (ST2013).
