Consumer Tendency Index of Gorontalo Province 2019

Early information that is able to provide early signals about changes in economic conditions in the coming months is very necessary to be known by the government, business world, and the consumer community. This early information can be known through the perception of consumption agents towards the economic situation.

Since 1995, Statistics (BPS) has developed an Early Indicator Monitoring System, which includes counting the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) based on the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). The survey is conducted quarterly in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta). Given the importance of this information, starting in 2011 STK was conducted in each province. In 2012, STK began to be implemented in all districts / cities in Gorontalo Province, especially in villages classified as urban areas. This publication explains the methods and results of ITK calculations in the territory of Gorontalo Province.
