Gender Inequality Index of Gorontalo Province 2023

Gender analysis plays a very important role in development. The balance in the number of men and women has not been accompanied by a balance in other aspects, such as health, education, economy, and politics. Awareness of this has given rise to the idea that community welfare can be realized more quickly if equality in various aspects is increased, or inequality in various aspects is minimized, namely by utilizing the potential and roles of men and women that have not been optimized so far. BPS-Statistics Gorontalo Province strives to provide data related to gender which is stated in the publication "Gender Inequality Index of Gorontalo Province 2023". The data presented in the publication consists of secondary data sourced from various government agencies/institutions and primary data from census/surveys that apply accuracy standards and are carried out by the BPS of Gorontalo Province.
