Abstract

Gorontalo's economy in 2017 is measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices that was Rp 34,547.56 billion and GRDP per capita that was Rp29.57 million or US $ 2,209.59.
Gorontalo's economy in 2017 grew 6.74 percent faster than in 2016 at 6.52 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling Fields of 16.28 percent. In terms of the highest growth expenditure was achieved by the Non-Profit Household Consumption Spending Component (PK-LNPRT) of 9.00 percent.
Gorontalo's quarter IV-2017 economy grew about 7.82 percent (y-on-y) than Q4 / 2016, faster than the same period of the previous year at 7.02 percent.
Gorontalo's economy in the quarter IV-2017 compared to quarter III-2017 contracted 0.98 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the decline was caused by contraction in the Category of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries at minus 8.03 percent. While in terms of decreasing expenditure caused by contraction in Export Components of Goods and Services amounted to minus 35.38 percent.
Gorontalo's economic structure in 2017 in terms of production is dominated by categories of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with a contribution of 38.01 percent. While the expenditure side is dominated by components of Consumption Spending with the contribution about 61.43 percent
