Consumption of Expenditure of Population of Gorontalo Province, March 2020

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) produces many social and economic indicators that are used for development planning and evaluation. Susenas aims to collect socio-economic data of the population, among others, data on education, health, nutrition, housing environment, socio-culture, and household consumption/expenditure, which data collection uses a household approach. Data on household consumption/expenditure is one of the important data to see the picture of people's welfare from an economic perspective. People's welfare can be seen from their consumption patterns and the variety of people's consumption patterns between regions can be illustrated in Susenas data. This publication is regularly published every year and is compiled to provide an overview of the expenditure and consumption of the population in Gorontalo Province, including the presentation of consumption data in calorie and protein units. Comparison of consumption patterns between districts/cities in Gorontalo Province also complements this publication.
